1. Data Controller
This Cookie Policy supplements, without replacing it, the Privacy Policy and describes how Cormaz sp. z o.o., with registered office at ul. Kalwaryjska 69/9, 30-504 Kraków, Poland, KRS 0001194924, EU VAT No. PL6793342022 (hereinafter the “Controller”, “we” or “MÂYN”), uses cookies and similar technologies on the website www.maynhome.com (the “Site”) and in e-mail communications sent to its subscribers.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on the user’s computer or mobile device at the time of the visit. They are used to allow the Site to function correctly, to make it more efficient, or to collect statistical information or information for profiling purposes.
Cookies set directly by us are called “first-party cookies” or “proprietary cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than us are called “third-party cookies”: they allow such parties to provide additional functions on the Site (for example statistical or advertising tools) and may allow the user’s device to be recognised also on other websites.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies, such as tracking pixels or web beacons; in many cases their operation depends on cookies, so refusing cookies may limit their effectiveness.
3. Categories of cookies used

4. Legal basis
The installation of technical cookies does not require the user’s consent, as they are strictly necessary for the provision of the Site. The installation of statistical cookies and marketing/profiling cookies, on the other hand, takes place only subject to the user’s free, specific and informed consent, at the time of access or through the appropriate area of the site.
5. Cookie banner and management of preferences
On the first access to the Site, a banner is shown that allows the user to choose between the options “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Customize”, presented with equal graphic prominence, in compliance with the indications of the Italian Data Protection Authority Provision of 10 June 2021, No. 231 and the EDPB Guidelines 05/2020.
By default, before an explicit choice by the user, only technical cookies are active: all other categories (statistical and marketing/profiling) remain disabled until consent is given. Non-technical scripts are blocked until that time.
You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time, with the same ease with which you expressed them, through the “Customize consents” panel, which can be opened by clicking the dedicated cookie icon at the bottom right of every page of the Site, or by acting directly on your browser settings. If you choose to reject non-necessary cookies, you will still be able to continue using the Site, although some functions may be limited.

The detailed list of individual cookies active on the Site, indicating name, category, purpose, duration and provider, is available in the “Customize consents” panel of the cookie banner, accessible at any time through the dedicated icon at the bottom right of every page of the Site. 7. Tracking pixels in e-mail communications
In addition to the technologies used on the Site, MÂYN may include tracking pixels (“tracking pixels”) within marketing e-mails and newsletters sent to its subscribers, using for this purpose a third-party e-mail marketing platform that acts as processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
The tracking pixel is an extremely small image, generally not visible, hosted on remote servers, which is activated automatically when the message is opened. Its operation makes it possible to detect information such as: whether the e-mail has been opened, the date and time of opening, the device and mail client used and, where applicable, interaction with the links contained in the message. Such information is processed for the purposes of analysing the performance of our communications, verifying the correct receipt of messages and personalising content based on the interests expressed.
Consent to the use of tracking pixels is included in the consent given at the time of subscribing to the newsletter and marketing communications, since this notice informs you in advance of their presence and related purposes: therefore, you will not be asked for a separate consent box.
You may at any time:
- withdraw only the consent to tracking through pixels, while continuing to receive our e-mail communications without them containing tracking tools; or
- withdraw consent to receive marketing communications as a whole, no longer receiving any promotional e-mail from us.
To exercise these choices, you may use the preference management/unsubscribe link at the bottom of each e-mail, or write to us at customercare@maynhome.com. We will record and implement your choice without undue delay.
8. Transfers of data outside the EEA
Cormaz sp. z o.o. is based in Poland, within the European Economic Area (EEA). If any statistical or marketing cookies active on the Site are managed by providers based or processing data outside the EEA (for example in the United States), the transfer takes place in compliance with the safeguards provided for by Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular through the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR) or another appropriate instrument.
9. Your rights
In relation to the processing of data carried out through non-technical cookies, you have the right to withdraw the consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before withdrawal, as well as to exercise the further rights provided for by Articles 15-21 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability), as described in detail in our Privacy Policy. To exercise these rights, you can write to customercare@maynhome.com.
If you believe that the processing of your data through cookies takes place in violation of the applicable legislation, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or, due to the Controller’s Polish registered office, with the Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO, www.uodo.gov.pl), without prejudice to the provisions of Art. 77 GDPR.
10. Updates to this notice
We may periodically update this Cookie Policy, for example to communicate changes to the cookies used or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons, in particular when new analysis or marketing tools are activated on the Site. The date shown at the beginning indicates the last update. We invite you to consult this page regularly.
